Top 5 Tips For Self Hypnosis

Self is a practice that essentially concentrates themind on certain topics of your choice. It is regularly used tostop smoking, eat less and achieve personal goals. Byconcentrating our mind and imagining senses, thoughts and evenimages we can persuade our conscious and subconscious mind. Bydoing this we can easily tell ourselves that we do not need acigarette or persuade ourselves that we don't need to eat asmuch as we do. Self can be used for many differentthings including to conquer fears or to overcome self doubt. Itcan even be used to quit habits and generally improve ouroutlook on daily life.

1- The first and most vital step towards self isresearch and learning. You should find out as much as youpossibly can on the subject so that you know what it is and whatto expect. Without this knowledge it is very unlikely you willbe able to make it work in any way. The Internet is a vastresource on many topics and self is in no way anexception to this rule.

2- As you improve at self you will discover the exactmethod that works best for you but you need to be able to gointo self hypnosis. Doing this without any guidance can bedifficult. First of all, when you are beginning, you should finda quiet and peaceful place to sit. You are best not trying itled down to begin with because you may fall asleep. Fallingasleep isn't a bad thing but it isn't self hypnosis.


3- A mantra are personal words or sayings that you shouldquietly repeat to yourself while trying to self hypnotize. Theywill help you concentrate your mind. You should think aboutnothing but these words while you are saying them, this way youcan relax your brain.

4- Tell each part of your body to relax. Start from your toesand work upwards. It is very important that you do this becauseyou need to relax your entire body. Once you've done this youshould 'walk' to your special place. Count each step and use thesame amount of steps each time you self hypnotize. This willalso help you concentrate your mind. Once you're there you canbegin your self talk.

5- When you've finished you need to count yourself out of selfhypnosis. You do this by telling yourself you have had afantastic relaxation and you are going to count up from one tofive. Tell yourself that when you reach five you will be relaxedand fresh.
